One-off payment
Learn what a one-off payment is and how it works.
The customer is in session and enters their payment credentials to trigger a payment immediately. The payment credentials that the customer enters are not stored for any subsequent payments.
Some of the examples of one-off payment are:
- delivery of services
- delivery of goods
- delivery of content
When you process this type of use case with a one-step approach, you initiate it by a charge
call at the time of order placement. If you are using a two-step approach, you first make an authorize
call and later trigger the charge
- usually when you fulfill the order. For more information, see the Order Fulfillment use case.
