Subscription migration guide

Learn about migrating recurring payments for the Unzer integration.

1. Check if you are using one of the following endpoints of former heidelpay to submit scheduled payments:
   • XML integration
   • GTWU integration
   • POST
2. Check if:
   • the transaction types are one of these: SD, RS, DS
   • within your integration code if there are some occurrences of the parameter IDENTIFICATION.REFERENCEID
3. If you are using one of the above,

   1. Fetch your old registration transactions for PayPal, SEPA Direct Debit, or credit card from Unzer Insights, and go to Transactions view and apply following filters:

      • TXN-Type equals Registration (RG) add rule
      • Payment method equals credit card add rule
      • include Unique ID into your export
      • select the timeframe when you started your subscription payments
      • export these transactions

   2. Repeat these steps for each payment method.

   3. For each exported transaction use UniqueId to create a payment type resource as described in API migration.

4. If you are not using one of the flows, we assume that you don’t use recurring payments. There are no additional steps required for your integration.
