Learn about various response codes and categories for card authorization re-attempts.

Visa and Mastercard introduced new rules about handling re-attempts for declined transactions. Following these rules will help you to avoid additional fees and reduce the number of unsuccessful re-attempts. The appropriate rules apply for the error codes summarized in the following two categories:
