Choose logos and activate
Easily configure your Shopify checkout by selecting payment method logos, activating the Unzer plugin, and setting up your preferred payment capture mode.
Choose payment method logos
Select the logos you want to display during checkout. Only choose logos for payment methods that are activated for your merchant agreement with Unzer.
Activate test mode for the plugin
Enable Test mode and click Activate to complete the app installation.
Configure payment capture mode
To set up charge mode, go to Settings > Payments. In the Payment capture method section, choose the setting that is sutiable your business.
- Automatically at checkout: Payment is captured when the order is placed.
- Automatically when the entire order is fulfilled: Payment is captured when you fulfill the order.
- Manually: You must click Capture payments in the order details.
If you choose **Automatically at checkout**, note that the payment is not automatically captured for the payment methods that require authorization before charge (such as Unzer Invoice, Unzer Installment, and Direct Debit Secured). Once the authorization is done, you can capture these payments manually in the shop backend or Unzer Insights.
After selecting your capture mode, click Save at the top of the page.
Set up the required checkout fields
We require your shop to send both first name and last name of the customer during the checkout process. To enable this, go to Settings > Checkout. In the Customer information section, select the option Require first and last name and then click Save.
