Migrate from UI Component to Payment Page based plugin
Before you install Unzer OXID 7 Plugin, here is what you must know before you start the process
Before you begin
Unzer OXID 7 will use the new Unzer Payment Page Version 2 Platform. This means numerous new features, improved security, and support for additional payment methods, although some deprecated payment methods will be removed. Please see below for more information.
If you are migrating from the old UI Component plugin to the new Embedded Payment Page based plugin and you have orders and payments that are not completed yet, it is important you do not delete the old plugin. You must deactivate the old plugin, but leave Unzer API keys and settings as they are until all your old orders and payments are completed.
Looking for more information about the difference between UI Components and Payment Pages, please our section about Payment pages.
Always test a new plugin on your development environment first.
